HB Session 14: Mr. Froggy and Mr. Toady
General Summary
Month 7, Week 1 - Month 8, Week 1, 924
With plenty of downtime before their next quest with Argus, the Holy Boaters set about crafting magic items and upgrades for their weapons. Dranatha was originally skeptical of helping Clover and Shazir with magic items of their own, but after they proved their martial prowess at a firing range she was willing to make the weapons they desired. Sarek spent his downtime meeting with a priest from Melusine to learn more about the worship of the Dragon God-Kings. Meanwhile Muireann and Yel'ah took up a side gig helping a ship's navigator who had ingested an aberrant silverfish-looking creature. That summer the Holy Boaters got their first bounty posters after several months of raiding, Noodles disappointed to discover that the Sardivelian authorities had misidentified Yel'ah as the dread pirate Noodles Habanero. But the Sardivelians weren't the only ones interested in the party: a couple days after receiving their updated bounties a mysterious note was delivered to them requesting a late-night rendezvous by the docks. Froggy Chair was there waiting for the Boaters, raving about Noodles' whereabouts and how they'd been hiding from him all this time. The argument almost turned to blows, but Noodles managed to calm the bullywug down by finally showing his face and coming out of his hiding place. Two long-lost brothers, Froggy and Toady Chair, were able to reunite for the first time since the Sunken God's Reign of Terror.
