Lakefinder Session 12: Wined, Dined, and Robbed Blind
General Summary
Month 13, Week 2, Year 935
After six weeks of traveling through Broggfey and Despero, the party finally arrived at Havre to investigate the occult murders plaguing the city. A haven for expats and high society gamblers, Havre offered plenty of opportunities for the group to be parted from their money. Karly kicked things off by taking Kai and Eraji to the Silken Omelette, an upscale restaurant where a bottle of Elflands wine cost 20GP. Her fellow party members were disappointed by the portion sizes, and Kai had nowhere to spar afterwards since all the fencing clubs expected costly membership fees. So the party decided to settle in the for the night, only to be ambushed by a couple of Handgun agents. The thieves guild, still mad about getting kicked out of Orem thanks to the party's meddling, mugged Karly for 25GP before disappearing into the night. The thieves apologized for such an inconvenience, but the sting of the theft was something that Karly would never recover from. Jaariko showed up during the mugging to help chase the thieves down, they apprehended Froggiam but Ysmyrelda proved to be a harder thief to catch.
