The party took a couple days to recover from the fallout from their raid on the Handgun hideout, Karly choosing to stay with the group for the time being. Jaariko and Karly delivered the ledger of Handgun activity to Jheri Heshtara, ensuring that a generous amount of money would be directed to Leena for their contributions to Orem's public safety. Overnight the Handgun was expelled from the city, low-ranking mooks like Henrik arrested while elite members like Nikki Merit escaped to sea. 200GP swelled the party's coffers, just in time for a much-needed shopping spree as a new member of the Gilded Hecat Guild joined their ranks: a monk named Kai from the far-off Way of the Range, eager for a fight to prove himself and see more of the world. And there would be plenty such opportunities now that the group had started to make a reputation for itself. Since Leena had spent so many nights healing the sick at the city's temple of the Ageless One, the high priest there asked if she'd be willing to go back to Qazvin to investigate rumors of an angel in the area in return for some gold and holy relics. Meanwhile Jheri offered to deputize the party if they wanted to continue rooting out corruption in the city, its ruling class in the thrall of Sardivelian merchants and schemers. And there was still the matter of the kuo-toa Sloop and Xeep, who were rumored to have absconded with the ancient draconic astrolabe towards the Temeraire Mtns. A lot of opportunities lay before the party, and after buying some much-needed supplies and magic items they prepared for another bout of adventuring.
