- Godric swims through to pull the lever
- Everyone rides the flow around to the final unexplored area
- Fight a couple of strange frog-elemental creatures
- Retrieve a 3rd gem
- The fast current stops
- Place the 3 gems in the large stone doors where the current was coming from
- Doors open, revealing a room with a large circular gate at the bottom
- Floating above the gate is an illusion of Calis
- Adjacent to this room is some kind of control room, indicating that a 4th gem is required to operate a large wheel
- Move through to a very large throne room, which leads into another chamber
- Find a room filled with electric eels
- Kill the eels
- Recover the final gem, and some gear
- Place all 4 gems in the control room, turn the big wheel
- All the water drains out as the large gate opens
- Under the gate is the real sword, standing up in a stone pedestal
- Kenshin retrieves the sword
- A feminine voice calls out from the throne room, congratulating the party on their success
- If they wish to gain the true power of the sword (the sheave) then this lady must be defeated in single combat
- The woman reveals herself to be Protalacus, The Deep-Dwelling. She is the mythical dragon of the Dora Lake
