Oathseekers
You must stop thinking about Oathseekers as the item of magic. Oathseekers are the magic; you summon it with the magic; you wield the magic.
Overview
An Oathseeker is an item, individual to each Oath Assassin, that can be summoned through the most simple of Arcanics. Due to the clear division of power consumption, the use of summoning an Oathseeker is one that is considered an individual branch of Arcanics generally considered a subcategory and not included when discussing the purpose of Arcanics due to its differences from other Arcanics. Oathseekers themselves are made of a material called blood steel. Blood steel can only be summoned from the use of unique Arcanics, making Oathseekers highly sought after and nearly impossible to capture. There are two forms of the blade, enacting the unique quality of the blade. When summoned, the blade is in Oath Stace, the first of the two, and glows a faint, translucent, red color. In Oath Stance, the blade is standard, albeit extremely sharp and hard. However, with the use of a little more power from the Bloodstone, the stance can be turned to Seeker. In this form, the blade begins to glow with a faint, gold hue and gains the ability to cut through anything, other than other Oathseekers, without resistance; this form allows it to kill anything. This drains the power of the Bloodstone significantly faster, however, making it a trade of time for power. The ability to summon Oathseekers, and control its stance, is one only used by humans. It is a counterpart to the life-powered Okkenan Arcanics, being directly powered by death.Oathseeker summoning is the most common form Arcanics, being the only widely sactioned form of said magic.
The cost of summoning, in terms of Arcanics, is significantly greater than dismissing. For this reason, Oathseekers are usually summoned via Bloodstones and dismissed via classical Arcanics, the method of which remains mostly under wraps.
