Volodyar (a.k.a. Dar)
Volodyar, descended from the windswept steppes of the Yamnaya homeland, known for his profound connection to the skies and the culinary traditions passed down through generations. His expertise in astronomy was not just scientific but also deeply spiritual, blending celestial navigation with the lore of the stars that guided the migrations and conquests of his ancestors.
When Volodyar met Thalassios, they discovered a shared affinity for the natural world, though from vastly different realms—one from the boundless sea and the other from the expansive sky. When he joined Thalassios on the houseboat Nausikylos, Volodyar brought with him the heritage of the steppes, infusing the floating palace with the earthy aromas of seasoned meats and hearty grains, juxtaposed against the fresh, briny scents of the sea.
Onboard Nausikylos, Volodyar took charge of the galley, transforming it into a cosmic kitchen where culinary arts met the arts of navigation. As he prepared dishes that were both nourishing and steeped in tradition, he also maintained a detailed map of the stars visible from their drifting home. The top deck of the houseboat featured a small deck where Volodyar spent nights charting courses by the stars, his eyes as attuned to the constellations as they were to the simmering pots.

Oddly, they arrived in Tir na nOg around the same time. Tal quickly built Nausikylos and Val joined in. Both loved the sea, and their home became the perfect place to acclimate to the realm on their terms.
