Vampirism
Not many are sure of the cause or origin of the disease, or addiction as some call it, though others still believe it to be a form of blood magic. It is said that the first vampire fed from her sister, taking her crimson blood and drinking deeply until she could no longer resist. The resulting passion changed both sisters for eternity, making them two parts one whole; an eternal bond and desire which only death may break. None may truly say what it is, however, for rituals such as these have been carried out by blood mages for millennia. The bonding of the blood is an ancient ceremony, while the drinking of your sisters crimson nectar has been practices since time immemorial. There are rumours however of a small branch of demonic heritage to which all these things come naturally, to whom no magic is needed for any such ritual.
