Breac's Guild report - 0.0.13 agf

Under command of Breac Sunfist, the guild adventurers encountered the town of Faelor which had been struck with plague. While Sunfist remained behind to deal with the plague, the rest of the guild agents proceeded east with Miko Tanner to investigate a silver mine that had become overrun by unknown beasts.

After several grim discoveries of the miners whose remains had been left behind, the guild found the beasts in question were a budding nest of Giant Fire-ants. Several survivors were located and rescued and the hive Queen was slain, securing the loyalty of the town and the use of the silver mine. However the adventurers have insisted on rather generous terms being offered to the miners, so the guild will benefit from only a meagre output from the mine, at the cost of assurances that two of our members will respond to every panicked, nervous plea for assistance these peasants are sure to make every time a passing wildcat so much as growls in their direction.

I submit this report as written by our scribes only so I can stamp on it my assurances that I had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Agents Miko, Jinx, Mylmar, Bendigar, Caeth'ar and Naz acted with initiative well outside my command, acquitting themselves admirably under great peril and pressure. They not only secured access to a valuable resource for the Guild, but also saved many innocent lives, provided peace to the dead, and went far to restoring the Guild's honor and reputation in the region. If that isn't sufficient for some stuffy Guild aristocrat, than said stuffy git can march north and mine his own damn silver.
