Little Warrior Adventurers Guild Introduction - Carindale

WELCOME, BRAVE ADVENTURERS, TO THE LIITLE WARRIOR ADVENTURER’S GUILD AT THE CARINDALE HOTEL

It is my honour to guide you through the many intricacies of our club and ensure a memorable Dungeons & Dragons experience. Our guild takes inspiration from “Little Warriors Shields” , a local not-for-profit one man organisation dedicated to providing some much needed distractions for “Little Warriors” currently within our health care system.

HERE’S SOME INFORMATION TO HELP YOU GET STARTED WITHIN OUR GUILD:
Mission:

Our mission is to foster a community of courageous and imaginative adventurers who seek to conquer the perils of the fantasy world through teamwork, creativity, and camaraderie. Through the Little Warriors Adventurer’s Guild, we aspire to create a space where everyone feels valued, where their ideas and contributions matter, and where they can immerse themselves in fantastic worlds of their own creation.

Membership: Cost = Free!

The guild welcomes players of all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned veterans. Whether you’re a noble knight, a cunning rogue, a wise sorcerer, or any other character class, you’ll find a place among the Little Warriors.

All ages are welcome but as our club is held within a pub, any patrons under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Regular Gatherings:

We currently meet every Monday from 5pm onwards (with games kicking off at 6:30pm) in back section of the Carindale Hotel (near the gaming lounge). This is where adventurers convene to embark on thrilling quests, share tales of valor, and build lasting friendships.

Online Presence:

To stay connected between in-person meetings, we maintain an online presence through our guild’s discord page; with the link being available on the night. Here, you can find updates on upcoming quests, campaign notes, relevant guild information, and engage in discussions with fellow adventurers.

GUILD FUNDAMENTALS - How it works.

Character Creation
  • All characters begin at level 5 and start with 500gold, 2 common and 1 uncommon item.
  • Levels are achieved through attending the sessions with the amount of sessions required increasing with each level; ie Level 5-6 = 1 Attendance, Level 6-7 = 2 attendances, Level 7-8 = 3 attendances, and so on.
  • Character stats can be done by standard array, point buy, or rolled; characters race, class, background, etc are completely up to you; our only stipulation is try not to break the game or take away the enjoyment from the other guild members.
  • Pre-made character sheets are available on the night for any new players, if required.
  • Our DM’s can also assist with character creation in person between 5pm and 6:15pm on Monday nights or via a request within the Discord channel.

You’ve made your character … now what?

Our sessions open at 5pm every Monday night, with games kicking off at 6:30pm. Between 5pm and 6:30pm is allocated to finding groups, getting seated at your tables, buying food or drinks from the pub, or just interacting with other guild members/ asking DM’s for assistance.

Quest Selection

Within the playing space you will find a “contract board” that is adorned with pieces of paper and little sheilds; the paper informs players of what quests are available on that night and the sheilds are the tokens that secure your place within your chosen quest.

Each quest will have a set number of sheilds attached.

Take time to read the quests and find which one appeals to you and remove the attached sheild. Each sheild has a coloured handprint on it that matches with a sheild that is located upon one of the numerous tables within our play space.

Once you have your token and have found your seat please hand the token to your DM.

If you arrive late or wish to play with a particular group / friends and there are not enough tokens left on the board, please have a discussion with any of the DM’s / organisers and we will try our best to accomodate your request.

Please note:

the contract board will also display the QR codes for our Discord group and our attendance tracker (see notes on page 3.)

There will also occasionally be some harder quests available on the contract board, these quests will be clearly visible. Choose them at your own risk!

Quests and Campaigns

At the Little Warriors Adventurer’s Guild, we offer a wide range of quests and campaigns designed to cater to different play styles and schedules.

Our quests primarily consist of one-shots, allowing for shorter, self-contained adventures that can be completed in a single game session.

During each session, we typically have an average of 60 players spread between 10 and 15 games that are running simultaneously; this fluctuates depending on the number of players in attendance and available Dungeon Masters.

This ensures that there are plenty of options for everyone to find a game that suits their preferences.

Season 2 Story:

Following the cataclymsic events of our season 1 finale, all quests now converge within a singular, evolving universe that we, as a guild, are actively crafting. You will be able to embark on adventures that unfold within a living, breathing world that is shaped by our collective imagination in real time based on the choices you make and the luck of the dice. You’ll journey through diverse landscapes, form important alliances, and encounter a vast array of unique entities.

Each quest reveals a distinct setting and narrative, designed by our seasoned DMs who will skillfully intertwine these adventures within the overarching campaign, ensuring a tapestry of experiences that you the players will be able to watch unfold via the WorldAnvil link within the discord group.

This season’s unique approach ensures a continuous thread of progression across the many quests being played and allows us all to play an important role within the creation of this world.

Guild Lore:

In the aftermath of season 1’s upheavals, our guild remains a steadfast haven for brave adventurers, only this time the Guildhall has been built within the land of Elanora.

At the heart of our guild you will find some important characters:

Season 1

Known Survivors
  • Lady Wintergreen - Guild Druid / Guardian of Nature
  • Damien Ironbrand - Guild Artificer / Guardian of Hope
  • Sir Knight - Stalwart Protector
Unknown whereabouts
  • Rhillaine - Guild Scholar / "Gentle" Witch
  • Old Gus - Roving Merchant / Procurer of Rarities / Shopkeeper

Alongside them, the fresh faces of season 2: (these will be updated as more become known)

Season 2

  • Rin - Fish Sorceress
  • Breac Sunfist
  • Jo-har Bonebreaker

Within these hallowed halls, survivors from seasons past and newcomers from the present unite, weaving together the threads of our ongoing saga. Together, they forge unbreakable bonds and help guide the path of our evolving tale.

Notes:

Attendance Tracker + Feedback:

There is a simple google forms document that asks for your name and any feedback / suggestions you may have.

The player information gained from this google form is used to track players levels, the total number in attendance each session, and provides you with an automatic entry into any future competitions that we host.

This helps us celebrate you, the players, when leveling up and also provides us with a rough estimation of player / DM numbers that helps us when planning the next session.

The feedback / suggestion information is used within our planning sessions to ensure the guild evolves with our players.

The QR code to register your attendance each session is located on the quest contract board.

Updates:

This form will be updated as changes are made / if more information is requested or required. All other updates will be announced via the Discord Group
