The Darkened Quarters

The Darkened Quarters are the abandoned outskirts of Starport . As the population shrinks, the population remaining huddles nearest the palace, the order halls of the various knightly orders, and the limited protection they provide. This leaves a dark ring of abandoned dwellings surrounding the city centre and the docks. This ring has now grown to the point where it is larger than the populated section of the city itself.
