Tomfoolery Inn

The Tomfoolery is a true antique, a relic of the time before the Little Warriors Adventurers Guild turned insular. It was built approximately 400 years 'after Exodus' when the Braeland kingdom still controlled much of the Pizol ranges, the Eal Empire was still in its infancy, and several of the figures of Guild legend that would shape its history hadn't even been born. Rhillaine had not yet discovered how to use the World Tree to carve out pocket dimensions with ease, so most guild members still lived in nearby Galleytown, which prospered from their attention. The Tavern itself is also believed to be magical in some way and it thrived on the patronage of the many Guild agents - the more people shared tales of their adventures across the multiverse, the better the ale got (and the bigger the hangovers).

By the late 700s, the Guild had moved most critical functions into the Guild Hall, and the Tomfoolery and other local businesses were suffering as a result. The collapse was accelerated when the Guild opened its own tavern within the Hall itself. At first intended only for officers pressed for time between missions, the Hall's tavern grew at a prodigious rate. By the time anyone thought to check on the Tomfoolery, the last known proprietor, Tara Mills, was gone, and the inn was shuttered closed.

More recently (0.1.18 agf) the Inn has been bought and reopened by Oswald Smith.
