History & Usage

Everyday use

Currency

Some locales use brass for currency, such as in Lungao where a brass scale is made from these, rather than using the mostly normalized copper pieces of the Cetandari Empire.

Mundane Items

Common, everyday items are often made of brass, such as keyrings, pins, lamps, chandeliers, thuribles, ornaments, tools, scales, needles, spyglasses, animal cages, censers, bells, door knockers, candlesticks, water faucets, and barrel spigots. Diningware is often made from brass as a cheaper alternative to pewter or silver, including mugs, steins, tankards, knives, forks, and spoons.
