The Monastery

Nestled in the hills of the midsouthern area of the Neldorlands, the Monastery is a particularly defensible fortress, home to a settlement of secretive and closed-off individuals, trained in the art of stealth, espionage, and infiltration.    Azrael was kicked out of the Monastery for his brutal and violent nature and now seems to work for the Broken Spears. He seems to know where Arryn is and insists that Arryn is also working with him.

Government

The Monastery is run by a council that oversees various areas in the settlement.    Maryn, a wood elf, is the one in charge of dispatching missions and promoting those from within. He is typically seen as the main leader.   Hulda, a dwarf, is the leader of the hunt.   The guard is run by Canis, also a dwarf.   Throsh, an orc, runs the Guild of Builders.   Ajir, a human, runs the Agriculture Guild.

Infrastructure

The Monastery is surrounded by a ring system of defense. The first ring inside the walls hold the majority of those who live in and work at the Monastery. The ring beyond that is mostly comprised of the barracks and training facilities, and then inside another wall sits the Monastery.
Thalia Fannorin was born and raised in purview of the Monastery. When her best friend Arryn went a mission and never came back, the council told her that she was dead, but not believing them, Thalia left home knowing she may never be able to go back.
