Morngrum archipelago
Geography
This scattering of islands is located almost in the center of The Tumundine Expance a vast ocean. Isolated from much of the outside world these islands are only recently settled by a clan of Island dwarfs known as Dragonstout. As such most of the islands are wild and natural untouched by civilication. The islands protrude from the ocean like jagged shards with steep cliffs breaking the waves, the lower sides of some of the islands have beaches covered in stones ranging from sand grains to the size of a dwarven fist.
Fauna & Flora
The archipelago is home to many species both ocean as land dwelling creatures and a rich variety of plant life. From the small strawberry bushes to the elder oaks the fertile soil on the islands make them an excellent place for farming. Large herd of sheep room the grassy hills on the eastern isles earning the area the name "Woollen Depths".
Natural Resources
The larger islands support ancient forests rich in many hard wood types form a plentiful source of timber used by the island dwarfs for their strong ships and sturdy homes. The mountains in on the islands form a easy accessible source of iron and gemstones with plentiful veins of mithril and adamantine deeper in the earth. The eastern herds of sheep grant a the island dwarfs with a unique type of wool which under treatment only beknows to them can be fashioned in to strong fabrics as smooth as silk.
