Those Born to the Land, Shall Stay on the Land

Lakoria is the guardian of The Deep. He despises those of the land of Eldaris, though none know why. Being only able to survive in the water; the most common belief is that Lakoria is jealous of those that can both walk the land and sail the waters. Unbeknownst to them their theory is further supported by the fact that Lakoria is the reason The Deep is so unforgiving to those of the land. He is the one who controls the surges of the sea and ensures that the waters surrounding Eldaris continue to remain unappealing to any land-born creatures.
