The Deep

The Waves Demand the Respect of Those that Traverse them.

The waves that crash along the shorelines of Eldaris strike with a very vicious and unforgiving undulation. The sea has been known in the land of Eldaris as a place of no return, which is why instead of referring to it as the sea or ocean the general populace refer to it instead as the deep. Many have tried to brave it's surges but none have ever returned after disappearing from the sight of the shoreline. Some have claimed to have seen Lakoria, the deep sea serpent, swallow ships that dared to leave whole. Though there is no proof this serpent even exists.
