The Drakthyr Monarchy
The ruling body of Drakthyr. The monarchy has ruled the nation since it's founding. Being quite successful in it's decisions, the people came to adore their ruling body. The nation of Drakthyr began to expand at a rate unlike any other nation. But before too long, this period of happiness and expansion came to an end when the War of Extermination began.
The monarchy was never the same after the War of Extermination. The war took a large toll upon the nation, the monarchy was forced to make changes in an effort to restore the nation to what it once was. The first step was to rid themselves of House Solomore. This decision was quite controversial to the people of Drakthyr, as House Solomore was the most beloved by the common folk. Soon after came increased taxation upon those who wished for the monarchy's protection. These two changes alone were enough to bring about unrest within the nation unlike any it had ever seen. The War of Extermination left the monarchy much smaller than it used to be, and due to the general hatred toward dragons and dragon kind The Scale Breakers were established and often unofficially used to deal with those contributing to the unrest swiftly.
