The Great Migration
After 57 years of eternal sunlight, the forests of Karnok could endure no more. With everything suddenly set ablaze the citizens of Karnok panicked. The vast majority of the citizens lost everything to the fires. Most fled to the lands of Kalabash where they were met with a mixed reception. The great nation of Kalabash found itself internally conflicted on how to handle this onset of people. Eventually the Order of the Divine Land agreed to let the people of Karnok take permanent refuge within it's nation. However, many of Karnok's citizens eventually became displeased with the Kalabash way of life. For Karnok was a vast forest and most of it's denizens led simple lives living amongst the nature. Kalabash had been a well developed nation for many years, and due to this the land primarily consisted of small towns or cities.
