Caedes

A crumbling, dingy portside capital, consumed by depravity and sin.

Demographics

Scattering the streets of Caedes are Kenku, Fey'ri, and Shadar-Kai. A majority of the population belong to the Fey'ri, with a smaller percentage belonging to the Shadar-Kai, and finally only a couple dozen Kenku. Professions in Caedes are mostly black-market and shady deals. The sale of stolen valuables and weapons, mercenaries for hire, poisons and blood, along with all other illegal objects could be readily bought or sold here. Having only a few honest businesses, the inn and potion shop being the most well-known. The inn is run by Fallacia, a Kenku, infamous for interfering with shady happenings within his inn. While the potion shop is run by Hostis, a Shadar-Kai, infamous for being the only elf to be thrown out Queen Banpiroa's court.

Government

This city is composed of lower and middleclass citizens. Queen Banpiroa doesn't interact with anyone outside her court. Therefore, her court maintains the order of the city. They collect weekly taxes from the each citizen, along with announcing the newest weekly court member. The upper hierarchy does not involve itself in the commoners lawless behavior.
