Duke Tobias Gallo
Gallo was named Duke by King Steppengard as a reward for his land’s service in protecting Dassen from invasion. Across the Nasham River which defines the eastern border of Gallo’s land is a mountain pass called the Alydi Gap, the only easy passage between Acheron and Dassen. Most other routes through the southern mountains are protected by the dozens of dwarven birthing communities, though none are as smooth a trip as Alydi Gap, so it has fallen to Gallo’s family throughout the centuries to hold back invaders.
