6th of Gozran, Year 859
Good morning Mr. Iennes. I hope this message finds you well. I have begun my research into methods by which to pass information to your "lady" friend. So far I haven't been able to find much. Most of what I could find is related to the passing of information on this plane but no luck finding any way to pass information between realms. You'd think that information would be easier to pass than objects and people, which we can do with ease. Guess sometimes we can't catch a break. I'll have my contacts keep searching while I leaf through my own books.
7th of Gozran, Year 859
One of my contacts in Evarra suggested that I take a different approach. If we can't find a way to send this information, perhaps we should look for a way to make one. Given that approach, we are faced with developing a method. I'm not completely certain that this will work but we may not have any other options. We would need to find a item which contains magical energy and information. Now that we have a possible direction, I will start searching for items that fit this description.
8th of Gozran, Year 859
More wins and more losses today, sir. I have found a number of possible items that could help you, however, all of them are incredibly rare. in the years before the sinking of the Traskan Land Bridge in the south of Auridon, Evarran mages had begun making weapons with a mind. It sounds ridiculous but, trust me, they exist but I would say that it's more likely that an entire generation of Dwarves will die before we are able to actually lay our hands on one of these sentient treasures. I'll keep looking for other options that may be more accessible and, in failing that, I will start looking into historical records and legends to find a living weapon.
9th of Gozran, Year 859
I'll start with the good news. I found an item that fits the bill perfectly. The not-just-bad-it's-entirely-terrible news is that the item that is both perfect for our purposes and more accessible than legendary weapons is none other than the phylactery of a lich. If you would like, I can focus my efforts into finding a sentient weapon or a dead mage's soul-box. Dealer's choice.
Reply from Iennes: "I think, while more dangerous, the phylactery would be more rewarding from the Lady. She likes knowledge, and what else but liches have knowledge she may not know?"

Stories referring to liches as 'liches' are few and far between. Mostly because few make it away from them alive to tell the tale. I'll start leafing through some of my older texts to find anything of interest. In the meantime, there's one old folk tale that I heard when I was a boy that may be worth looking into. Now, the story doesn't mention a lich per se but there's a tower, half sunk in a frozen lake to the East. The story says that it was built by a wizard that was exiled from Evarra.
Nobody knows how old the tower is and nobody has been able to get in. You may be able to find something of use there if you can find a way in. Oh, before I forget. You left me in charge of the tavern when you left so I took the liberty of sending for help from Tymora's Delta. I bought four slaves that I'm familiar with, men and women that I trust. I know how you feel about slavery so just know that, though I bought them, I have no intention of keeping them as slaves.
They're hired hands around the tavern, sweeping, cleaning dishes, throwing out the odd unruly customer, that kind of thing. Some of them also have talents that some would consider..."unsavory." I'm sure you'll find a use for them.
