Eldrinite Creation Myth

In times before the age of mortals, there was only the gods and their ceaseless warring. To prevent the shedding of more divine blood, Ao sought to change the infighting to a proxy client: Worshipers and devotees. However, in the Astral Sea there existed no space on which to grow a flock of followers. Devoting himself to the task of saving his children, Ao and his wife, Eldara, decided on a course of action. Eldara would act as the physical medium through which a suitable landmass could be produced.
Enduring the enormity of this task, Ao drained the divine essence from Eldara. This process effectively reduced her to a withered husk, her flesh becoming the land, her dying breath the sky, and her parting tears the sea. It is said that there are places deep below the earth in which you can still hear her last breaths emanating from veins of crystalline ore.
