The Greenbriar
"No finer establishment have I worked in. Employees are just the right shade of shifty yet well-adjusted. Perfection." -Baralai
Purpose / Function
Originally intended to be a meeting hall, the Greenbriar is one of the more elaborately decorated buildings in The Nest. Following the construction of the local keep, all meetings concerning politics and town business were relocated to the more grand structure upstream. Seeing that the building was in disrepair and had been vacant, the town banded together and raised enough money to buy the old meeting hall from the Duke.
After the purchase, the townsfolk gradually used what profit was being made from the bar they had installed to add an upper floor, deciding that rooms for rent were a preferable use of the space rather than vaulted ceilings.

Tourism
The Winter's Visage brandy, a local spirit, has drawn in its fair share of customers. Connoisseurs and traders from many of the greater cities in Auridon have come to sample it's smokey-yet-bright citrus and pine needle flavor.
