Berdea - The New World

Berdea is the westernmost discovered continent on Eldris. It is surrounded by thick shoals and corals, which act as a naturalistic barrier to the continent. Once the breakers are crossed, the land is full of plains, valleys, hills, desert, mountains, jungle forests, and marshes. Despite the size, the climate seems to be consistent across the continent rather than the natural progression as one would expect. As a result of this, the flora and fauna are extremely diverse and adapted to their environment.

Fauna & Flora

The plains and scrub lands are littered with large lizard like creatures, mottled in greens and yellows. They can run faster than horses and have thick hides, difficult to pierce with steel weapons. Their bite has proved to be toxic. In addition, there are several species of grass lion, deer, goats, and rodents. The mountains are filled with vast amounts of birds and lizards the size of elephants with thick armor plating and huge claws. The northern forest contains large elephants, tigers, wolves, odd plants such as an orange flower that spits a pollen at anything that disturbs it, causing it to fall into a deep sleep. The dessert contains odd creatures, such as star fish that live in the sand and large scorpions, the largest measuring at 40 feet high and 70 feet long (including tail)
