Grand Archmage

Qualifications

Need to have passed the classes of the Order and been an Arcanist for a minimum of 10 years.

Requirements

Anyone can be chosen as long as they have the qualifications.

Appointment

It is voted on by the Council of the Order, but the previous Grand Archmage has final say over who is next. They may follow with what the Council votes or decide their own.

Duties

The main duty of the Grand Archmage is to represent the Order in public and lead the Council in meetings and votes. They also hold ultimate authority and have final say in most things.

Responsibilities

They hand down punishment and potential termination from the Order. Day-to-day for the Grand Archmage is reviewing requests, meetings, and general overview of the Order.

Benefits

They are housed in the Grand Archmage's house. They are paid a generous salary. They also hold a good political standing in the eyes of the public and the current ruler of Faerystone.

Accoutrements & Equipment

The current feminine dress uniform for that is worn for big events has a regal like silhouette, with a fitted upper body that has wide flowing, sleeves and an overskirt/cape skirt that drags behind worn over either pants or a skirt. The top and robe is one piece and made from dark navy blue velvet with motifs of arcane symbols and silver embroidery of runes for protection and power. There are Luminous Crystals that shine and give the wearer an ethereal glow. The hood is made from a silk of the same color that drapes and falls. For a more mysterious look a slit is made where a stiff material can be inserted and the hood will stand out obscuring the face. Day-to-day outfit is very similar but made from more common materials and there are no luminious crystals.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If there is a unanimous from the Council the Grand Archmage may be removed from the seat without being allowed to choose the next person.
