The Elemental Right
Humans, dwarves, elves, and others are as much a part of Eldûra as every other living thing that Avva'ai placed upon its surface and breathed into being. The Laws of Eldûra are similar to Earth's, yet also different in ways that can often be overlooked.
Until you stumble into them and become involved.
'The Elemental Right', as this law is named by members of t'Ithaune di'Shúwal , is the natural law that determines who is able to manipulate the elements. A Law guided by Avva'ai Himself, it's rarely bestowed upon anyone and one's ideals, goals, and beliefs often determine if they are given this gift.
The Elemental Right is often given to someone in the heat of disaster. It doesn't matter what kind of disaster it is, it will come to the aid of one whose life is in danger, one who is a light in the darkness and a warm presence to those in need. It manifests as a surge of calm that washes over the endangered one, followed by a flash of elemental power that chases off the danger or helps them out of their situation. And then afterward, they are confronted by the Mentari king or queen of whatever element the Creator has chosen for them. They are told of how their fate has changed, how they have been entrusted with a gift that few were qualified to have.
The Mentari royal stays with the newly-minted elemental user for the next few days, guiding them on how to use their new abilities and the rights and wrongs of conduct.
The Elemental Right is a Law controlled solely by the Creator, Avva'ai, and cannot be manipulated by anyone else. He has full authority over this and if He sees anyone misusing their abilities, He will revoke them and the user will be left utterly powerless.

What a cool idea I like how it's given to people to survive and then they are able to use to help others
Thanks for your wonderful review! I can't wait for the day when I'll get to play with this a bit more :)
