Elemental Types of Magic
The element types of magic are used to categorize the type of power that is behind the spell or enchantment. Each Element type has strengths and limitations in the form of magic you were attempting to create. To put it another way, certain element types are greater in certain Magical Disciplines and weak or non-existent in others.
There are three categories of magical energy. You've got the Primary Elements. These are the most frequent and well-known elements in Elema. This is due to the fact, that these eight factors separate every aspect of our existence. Our gods and goddesses each represent one of these elements.
Cross Element is the name given to the second magical energy group. The element type will fit into two of the Primary Elements. As a result, depending on the two-element types. It could be simple or difficult to learn. Natural wielders are uncommon, although not unheard of depending on the type mix. So, if two elements, such as fire and water or light and dark, are diametrically opposed. They are inherently rarer and more difficult to learn how to use the power. If they do not oppose themselves, such as earth and water or spirit and wind, they are easier to learn and more common to find natural wielders.
Superior Element is the final type of magical energy. These elements are difficult to learn or rarer to have naturally. This is due to the fact that this element category is made up of three or more of the primary elements.
