Umbra sparkle

Umbra Sparkle began as a mining town on a large darkness Lay Line . It has been providing material and darkness Lay Line Crystals  for several hundred years. It was a thriving mining town. Until the day of the faithful Lay Line Charge Explosion  went off. For approximately 30 years, the entire city was engulfed in a dark magical field. No one could even get in or out the whole time. When the city was engulfed, it altered. The village is still there, but it has turned into a dark tight rock. It has also gained many caverns and tunnels beneath the ground. The new habits are creatures from nightmares. Turning this once-striving mining town into a city of monsters

Demographics

The people creatures and other life forms have been transformed into something out of a nightmare. There is a mix of monsters that are known and monsters that had never been categorized. Some the monster that we do know that are their Beholder, Mimic and ShadowThorn.

Defences

The city's defenses are its residents. They are dangerous and unexpected. Depending on the type of creature or monster, it may have a variety of skills and ability. One thing is certain: the majority of them are territorial. Some have even set up traps of various kinds, such as pitfalls, poisonous gas, and so on. Others have created up magical traps such as exploding ruins or conjuring acid, to name a few. It all depends on whatever cavern you enter and who has made it their home.

Infrastructure

All of the structures are composed of hard black rock. Having the same structure as the original buildings of the town. They still have the main major building, the general store, all the houses, a couple of saloons, and a few other stores and buildings. When you walk into any of them. They seem brand new and ready to be used. As you investigate, you'll see that practically every house and office has a way to get underground. This is a labyrinth of tunnels and caverns. They appear to have been developed and made by someone or something. Some of the tunnels link to gather and others do not. The size varies in these tunnels as well. Some are very long while others could be very short.

• As well as some unique and variety types of metals
• Unique master body parts for alchemy and magical components
• Unique plants for alchemy and magical components
• There is also random treasures and unique items that can be found. The most basic of it is dark resistant armor and weapons that have darkness type attacks.

Guilds and Factions

Guiding Star provides an open adventure for mid to advanced adventurers to go in and acquire dark Lay Line Crystal, raw materials, and whatever else they find. They are compensated and awarded for the resources and valuables they turn in. They are free to retain any riches and treasures they find, but any Lay Line Crystals or raw materials they find must be returned to the Guild. They are welcome to make a request to keep a little material for their equipment.
