Beastkin

The Beastkin are a race created by the High Elves through horrific experiments on slaves and criminals. They fused animals of different types with mainly humans, creating something inbetween. The first few years for the beastkin were rough. They were abandoned by the Angels with only basic equipment, forced to make homes for themselves. But putting a large group of slaves and criminals together was not the best idea and a lot of internal fighting occured. Amongst the fighting there was a civil war that split the Beastkin into several tribes, mainly split between carnivores and herbivores.
There are a few subraces to Beastkin, including: Mammalia Beastkin, Avian Beastkin, Reptilia Beastkin and Piscis Beastkin.
