House Goldenhide
One of the many noble houses of Alterwood. They rule over the Redwick area and their main income come from the taxes they collect in said area.
The name Goldenhide comes from the golden armor with fur details the first of their name wore while fighting for the royals of Elladonia.
The head of their house was, up until recently, Oscar Goldenhide, but after he was brutally transformed into a monster and killed his wife, Daniella Goldenhide has taken over as the head of the house.
Due to their a family legend, the name "Victoria" is given to many of the daughters born into the Goldenhides, as they believe it will bring them great beauty.
Family History
Several generations ago the head of the house named Thomas Goldenhide was charmed by a woman that went by the name Victoria Stormheart. He left his wife and abandoned his children for this woman. When his friends noticed changes in his behavior they realised that this was not love, it was an obsession. But all who met Victoria Stormheart seemed to have nothing against her, it was as if she charmed them all. At her behest he built an underground extension to his home which he dedicated to her. Before anyone knew it, Thomas was found dead with his entire body drained of its blood, and the underground crypt was forgotten. Thomas and Victoria was the only one who knew of the entrances and the builders and miners who had helped built it mysteriously disappeared. The mansion was reclaimed by the children of the lord but Victoria Stormheart was nowhere to be seen. Up until recently, Victoria Stormheart the Vampire remained in the crypt beneath the mansion alongside her companions and allies. It served as their base for many generations without the mansion owner's knowledge. Upon their awakening Victoria personally used ancient spells used by the followers of Agana The Flesh Sculptor to turn Oscar Goldenhide and the others in the mansion into monsters before abandoning the mansion to resume their greater plan.
