Oswin Hill
The single father of Jenny and Timmy Hill. He is a dull, man who used to be much more cheerful until the love of his life Rosa Longhorn tore out his heart and left him with their two kids when they were very young.
His and Rosa's relationship was quite the topic of gossip for a very long time in Penrith, and Oswin is sick of hearing it. People would say that Rosa was only with him to milk him for money, and it was well known that she was sleeping around with a large abundance of men, but Oswin did not have the heart to leave her. Some of the people who love gossip love to play guessing games on who the actual fathers of Jenny and Timmy are, without caring for how it affects the children.
Today he is rather paranoid and has a hard time trusting people as a result of what happened between him and Rosa.
