Pugnatus Pumanath
Pugnatus Pumanath is a kindhearted and well-spoken man as well as a member of The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company. He can often be found reading a book or accompanied by friends or companions. While he seems to have a lot on his mind most of the time, that does not deter him from his beliefs of kindness and compassion.
He has two god-children in Redwick, which go by the name of Cole and Landon Carter.
Personal History
Pugnatus comes from one of the many noble houses within the kingdom of Thun'Zol, his father having dedicated himself to their Kraken Overlord Zon'dal, Voice of the Deep. Since they had for generations remained loyal to the Kraken, their family had since long back been granted land and political power, naming them House Pumanath. While Pugnatus got along seemingly well with most of his siblings, his father treated him differently from the rest of his children. Wanting to create a strong bloodline, those who were not considered strong enough got little love from Zeus Pumanath, the current head of the house and Pugnatus' father. As such, Pugnatus was often tasked with caring for his youngest sister Zeniaun, who seemingly had some form of learning disability and often also struggled to speak. Pugnatus did not receive the same training as his other siblings, but was well trained in court manners, composure and elegance. As he was still a noble, he was still a representation for House Pumanath, even if he did not have the same support from his father as his siblings. To help deal with the mistreatment from his father, he sought aid from Aqualon The God of Water, and received his blessing. But with it came a vision of a demonic invasion that were to destroy foreign lands. Not wanting to see the world destroyed by demonic invaders, he left Thun'Zol, despite knowing that if he would try to return, he would not be welcomed with open arms. He walked through The Reef of Lost Souls, and after weeks of walking made it to the kingdom known as Theria. Seeking the floating island he saw in his visions, he travelled further north with caravans until he reached the Kingdom of Elladonia. There, in the city of Dameril he joined the The Golden Griffon Adventuring Company with the hopes of establishing himself and understanding this kingdom that was so different from where he came from. After many months he came to the realization that it was not Aqualon that had granted him the vision, but another ancient entity known as The White Woman. She said that if he could free her from her prison, she would grant him her blessing. As such, Pugnatus abandoned his faith with Aqualon, and as such lost Aqualon's blessing. He now seeks to find a young woman connected to the White Woman, and in time free The White Woman from her prison. In his journey, he also encountered a young woman named Hayley Carter who was very sick. She showed him kindness despite her condition and wanted to help her. Turning to the White Woman, she granted him a vial of a mysterious medicine which she claimed could cure Hayley, as proof of her will to help him if he helped her in return. Upon bringing this medicine to Hayley, not only was her mysterious disease cured, but it also removed any other issues she had been dealing with, such as back and joint pain. As a token of her gratitude, she now considers Pugnatus to be family, and he is always welcome in their home. She also gave him the offer to become the godfather of her children, as they had both grown incredibly fond of Pugnatus, which he accepted. FAMILY TREE NOT AVAILABLE
