Jonesy The Fingers

Jonesy “The Fingers” is a male halfling of average halfling height with dark hair and non conspicuous features that help him with his unique lifestyle. He is another product of the fast paced lifestyle of Loggenspire. As an orphan he was lucky enough to be taken in by the Promising Futures Orphanarium(PFO). Jonesy was placed there by the local authorities when he was caught on multiple accounts of petty thievery where he would swindle innocent citizens posing as a beggar, on one occasion a shoe-shiner, and on another as simply a scared lost child. While in the PFO he spent a good portion of his formative years with other like minded youths who in their own subtle ways were honing their craft in surviving on the streets of Loggenspire.   Unlike a majority of his peers Jonesy was rescued from this life when he planned an intricate street robbery on an unsuspecting noble. As Jonesy was executing his plan, other ruffians had jumped his unsuspecting mark proceeding to rob him and beat him, and they would have killed him too, if Jonesy did not intervene. He was able to fend off the assailants until they scattered, and his appreciative target, a noble by the name of Lord Esmer Van Prahns, who unbeknownst to Jonesy was himself a lieutenant in the local thieves guild(The Poachers). Once Jonesy explained himself and apologized, Lord Esmer was more appreciative and impressed rather than angry. He saw the potential in Jonesy and took him in.   Having a shared bond for crime. Lord Esmer, taught Jonesy his skillset instead of keeping him away from the underground. He had even given Jonesy the name of “The Fingers” due to Jonesy’s nimble lightning quick hands when they would go “out for a walk”. Jonesy was exposed to Loggenspire’s underbelly through “The Poachers” who were a collection of burglars, pickpockets, thieves, cutthroats, etc… who operated away from the watchful eye of the authorities. They called their marks “cookies.” However, despite all these due to the Poacher code, family, whether direct, or indirect, was not allowed to join, and Jonesy fell in this category.   Jonesy was at a loss, until he was contacted by a friend and past member of the PFO, Rev Cresthil,l who had joined a local assassins guild, called the Reach. He said the guild was recruiting, and provided a lucrative opportunity for him. Jonesy immediately jumped on this opportunity, and has been a member ever since.
