Amor Tristunjark

Amor was born to a poor family living on the top floor of a stable. His parents died at a young age, and so it was up to him to take care of his younger brother, Samwell Tristunjark. He took whatever work he could find, and most often it was hard labor throughout the small hamlets outside the city.

In his late teens, Amor had a serendipitous encounter with Lysandra, the daughter of Lord Errik Ottyn, ruler of Conwell. The two fell in love, and even with their social status so starkly different, Amor approached Lord Errik for permission to court his daughter. Impressed with Amor's courage and honesty, Lord Errik took Amor and his brother in as his wards. In just a few short years Amor and Lysandrawere wed. Lord Errik had no heirs, and fearful that distant family members would come to scavenge the city upon his death, Errik named Amor his heir apparent. When Errik died in Year 1100 of the Third Era, Amor and Lysandra became the Lord and Lady of Conwell.

However, nine short years after becoming the Lord of Conwell, the Rexcidium War began. Within the chaos of the civil war, Amor fought against the corrupted House Vallius. As the years went on, those fighting along side Amor saw with wit, integrity, and humility. All this coup[led with his natural leadership, by the end of the was Amor was immensely popular with the rebellious nobility. And when the time came to crown the new king, the choice for House Tristunjark to ascend the throne was almost unanimous.

Yet, even with the nigh full support of the kingdom's nobility, Amor still sees his role as king as no more than stewardship. He believes that one day Houses Vallius will be worthy of ruling tel once again.
