The Aerynetti Racer

The Aerynetti Company is at the forefront of high performance racing technology in the world, born of humble beginnings in the serene Free City of Munico.

Propulsion

The Aerynetti Racer is a one man chariot, drawn by two pure breed Munican Stallions. The stallions are bred by the family and team itself for the specific purpose for the Grand Prix. The horses train their entire lives for the opportunity to pull the Racer. The Stallions are bred to be faster than the average members of their breed.

Weapons & Armament

The Racer carries no weapons on it, as it is meant strictly as a racing vehicle for the Grand Prix. There have been built in two javelin holds, however, with the nature of the classy, it is almost impossible to effectively throw the javelins from the seated position.

Armor and defense

The Racer has little armor, very little, despite the Grand Prix allowing racers to combat each other in the midst of the race. The point of this is to strictly focus on racing and control of the driver to take the lead and keep it, leaving the combatants far enough behind that the lack of armor would not be a concern. Because of the strange design of the racer, the driver's legs are the most covered, with a sort of cacoon like forma, complimented by a spine-like apparatus for the driver to sit almost comlpetely upright while driving. The axle of the Racer sits just behind the driver's back, granting it a very low center of gravity and reducing drag.

Additional & auxiliary systems

The Racer has few auxiliary systems or features save a handful that set it apart from other chariots in the Grand Prix or the world in general. These features are sanctioned by the Grand Prix itself. The most notable and common feature being a turning spike, which can be deployed by crank by the driver to assist in sharp turns around the city streets during the race. The spike is made from a fortified steel for durability and weight. Another feature, which helps in control of the chariot is a series of ball bearings and belts that allow the wheels to shift slightly on their axle, allowing them to shift and turn more fluidly and not be subject to wide turns as most chariots would.
