The amphibious Karchians, especially those who have been raised in land-locked bodies of water or in captivity, hold this land in holy regards.
Karsts and Ancient Pines serve as the northern border for Remidûr's ally Soteria, aside for the semi-autonomous forest of Onivarc, the forest's fierce Oni and Orc residents protecting the denizens of Soteria and Remidûr from lesser ancient Cadavers. With the King of Soteria being the brother of Remidûr's, Soteria is granted the most lack immigration restrictions.
The Marshbleed river stands as the official border to the Desolate Kingdom of Ataitus. Remidûr, even with it's recent neutral and pacifistic nature, stands as a stark safe haven for the 6 merchant guild families of the Ascendari. While direct action against or direct help for refugees who cross the border is prohibited by the Military, it is not difficult for Ascendari to find aid.
The Marshbleed river and the Marshbleed Shelf is the eastern border for the kingdom. Sulfurous a air waffing off the Nitûr, the eastern edge and mountain range is a odorous area, one few are willing to settle and is occupied by Freemen.
