Antillia (An·TIL·ee·uh)

Antillia (An·TIL·ee·uh) is a merchant plutocracy located along the southern Ellorian coast near the Sea of Thieves.

Demographics

The kingdom is mostly comprised of humans, but being another port on around Barter Bay there isn't a shortage of all sorts of races and nationalities.

Government

The governing body is comprised of a council of the five richest merchants refered to as Plutarch's. Amongst them, the richest is granted the title of Ploûtos who has supreme governing power over policy. The current council consists of Beff Jezos, M'lon Eusk, Zark Muckerberg, Gill Bates, and Aernard B'rnault as the current Ploûtos.

Industry & Trade

Grande of Antillia is home to many famous exports such as wine, barley, and wheat.

Guilds and Factions

Although it does not host any headquarters, Antillia is home to many of the merchant companies of Elloria such as Pinnacle Mercantile and Tempest Trading Co..

History

After The Barter Wars of the Fifth Age, the Kova thought it'd be wise to spread out some of the trade hubs of the realm in case Iliam plunged into another territory war. During the negotiations of the Eternum Treaty, the Oracles convinced the Ellorian Senate to pass foreign aid permitting the construction of Antillia. It was named after the Antillians, a majority subculture living within Iliam at the time. Since its creation, Antillians are now associated with the kingdom rather than the culture from Iliam. At the time and still through today, there are many critiques of the nation claiming them to be a puppet state of the Kova so that they can jump into the trade business if the ports of Iliam close again.
