The Velrov Herd

The Velrov Herd is a nomadic tribe of Loxodons who walk around the lands of Elloría. Although many of the loxodons are found in this tribe, it is not uncommon for some to leave the parade and begin their own life.

Culture

The Memory roams around simply by astral navigation. They follow unusual patterns that only those within the herd know how to follow- making it incredibly difficult to predict their migration pattern.

Religion

Although little is documented by the Herd, it is believed that Illendíl is the one guiding them on their travels. This is why in some cultures like that in Tat Shahar, they depict Illendíl in the form of an elephant.

Worship

The heard collectively believes in the purity of the land and the supplies it provides. Their constant roaming through astral navigation stems from the belief that by the end of their journey, the Lúminai will guide them into the afterlife.
