Velebor

Saint Velebor (a.k.a. Arch Oracle)

Velebor was one of the founding trinity of the Kova Vanguard. He was also notoriously the first Oracle of the order.
He served the order until his death in the Second Age, he was 740 years old.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Hearing the original Prophecy from Kova, Velebor wanted to find the next messiah and ensure they were a member or the order. In doing so, members would have to be taken in from an early age to prevent attachments and corruption from the society around them.

After defeating the Tyrant King, Velebor along with the other two in the trinity cemented their influence in Illendíl for centuries to come. With the Vanguard becoming the defacto rulers of Illendíl, Velebor also founded the Oracles, and thus also becoming the first Grand Oracle.

After becoming the Grand Oracle, Velebor quickly and noticeably became the prominent personality of the trinity. This is speculated what began the rift between the three founders and ultimately their separation. His strict command over the orders ideals, tenets, and practices helped shape it into what it has become today, but also pushed away his brethren.

Contacts & Relations

Velebor's relationship with Kaneg and Ulric was complicated to say the least. It was most often Ulric who would disagree with Velebor. The two others remained members of the order, but stepped down as Oracles in the latter years of their shorter lives.

Religious Views

After defeating Tyrant King Severn with the help of Kova, Velebor seeked to influence the realm with his belief and thus the Vanguard's.
