The Ruins of Inyalsera

Geography

Having long been well-reclaimed by nature, the Ruins of Inyalsera are a distant shadow of their former self. Though much of the entrance wall still stands vines and vegetation have grown over them, slowly wearing away at the stone. The foundations of buildings lay scattered across the area, roofs and in many cases most of the walls crumbled away thanks to nature and time, and it's no longer possible to discern what may have been homes or a building that served another purpose. Trees long repopulated the area, and paths and roads have long since disappeared. Much of things like furniture have also crumbled away as well, indeed no artifacts of any kind remain among them. The only places still intact are the temple-like library at the center of Inyalsera and its fountain, which long ago ran dry. Whatever magical property it once had still seems to linger, and manage to preserve it and the immediate area to some degree.

Fauna & Flora

Many of the Northern Wild's creatures also call this place home. Small critters like squirrels, gophers and hares, songbirds, even deer make use of the shelter of the fallen buildings. A number of rare herbs grow wild among the ruins, like Hyperia and Laishaberries and other such plants that are known to be favoured and cultivated by various elven people. Some particularly adventurous folk who have visited the ruins have claimed to see things like False Unicorn Root but have never returned with any such specimens.
