Elsewhere
"It's traditional to say that you found Elsewhere."
"Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that I landed on it?"
Geography
Elsewhere has a large continental-like mass floating amidst a maelstrom of spatial distortion. The crust is just two miles thick on average and encompasses an area a bit larger than Russia. There is very little physical variation, with low hills and very few mountains.
Surface
The entire biosphere is magically maintained. There are crystals in the underbelly of the world that keep it afloat and maintain effects like the artificial gravity, the atmosphere and the stars in the sky, which are actually crystals designed to give light to the world. Large bodies of water and even rivers are rare, but the magically induced rain is good enough to sustain life. Due to this, Elsewhere's can be described as being permanent stuck in a mild-temperate spring.Underside
Elsewhere's underside is formed entirely of gray-dark crystals the size of small buildings. They provide a field that generate artificial gravity and make the atmosphere stable.Borderlands
The outer most borders have a few miles of crystal that's growing to form Elsewhere's underside and then grow upwards, generating new ground.Fauna & Flora
Elsewhere has species from different worlds. Notably, it has some species native from Elan which are notoriously large. Among those, some include very large deer (up to ten feet tall), squirrels and wild dogs.
While rainfall is pretty common, the lack of large bodies of water means that fish and other obligatorily aquatic forms of life tend to be pretty rare.
Due to the perpetual twilight not all species adapt to life in Elsewhere.
Natural Resources
Elsewhere is very poor in metals, existing only in trace amounts and there are no true deposits or mines. However, the soil is rich and good for farming, and the ever present trees with are a good source of lumber.
