Elsa Valtervold Landry
Elsa Valtervold Landry is the sister of the Valtervold family who moved away from Belhaim to marry successful merchant Benjamin Landry. Given that Valtervold is a name with significant heritage in Dunkelgrun she opted to keep that name as well as taking the name Landry when she married.
After the death of her brothers, Gareth Valtervold and Walton Valtervold, the Lord Advocate and Prime Judge of Belhaim respectively, she returned to Belhaim with her husband and a small retinue in an attempt to be elected as the new Lord Advocate, continuing the family hold over that position. However, she was beaten in the election by Esward Moulton. Subsequently she demanded an investigation into the election and the deaths of her brothers, as well as the death of one of her advisors. This eventually brought two investigators from Battervold to Belhaim to look into the matter.
A note found in the quarters of Westley Frenymtist during the investigation of the murders in Belhaim seemed to implicate that she was behind at least ordering some of them.
