The Lightbringers meet with Moulton, returning funds and chest missing since the scouring of Belhaim. They are questioned Hanirash, the remaining investigator from Battervold. They spend the rest of the day catching up with locals investigating the murder themselves. The next morning the investigation continues and they discover that Aldon is also implicated in the murders. Aleif is poisoned, but is saved by the Lightbringers and Essa. Eventually, Westley is revealed to be the murderer and a fight ensues. Westley is killed and revealed to be Svirfneblin adorned with strange tattoos.
