Esabel Chantry
Priestess Esabel Chantry (a.k.a. Essa)
A young human Priestess in charge of the inter-denominational temple in Oxenhalt.
Esabel (or "Essa") has only recently been placed in charge of the temple, and moved to Oxenhalt to take up the post just before Belhaim was overrun by Hobgoblins and Worgs and a contingent of Worgs, a Hobgoblin and Goblins attacked Oxenhalt.
During this attack she was able to provide some minor healing to the defenders. She also cast a spell on Elanil Naepetor to stave off a final death in the hopes she could be revived. This was eventually achieved with the help of Dharra Boulderfoot, Arkomir Phinan and Lukas.
Esabel is young and has had something of a sheltered background, but has proven herself to the people of Oxenhalt in defence of the village.
When trouble is afoot Essa wears a suit of burnished chainmail and carries a mace. Though she isn't entirely comfortable in a martial position, she is devoted to protecting the people of Oxenhalt and hopes her armoured appearance and willingness to fight somehow inspires those around her.
Esabel is the fourth daughter of her family and originally entered the church at around ten years old.
