Halflings

Halflings are split into 2 main subraces. The Lightfoots are still more common than the Stouts, since they are more likely to wander further. Listed below are the special halfling clades that are further offshoots from the main 2 subraces

Neve-born Halflings:

Halflings who call Hivarethe their home, they are resistant to the cold, and most of them are dark of skin but light of hair and eyes, myths say they were born from the ice that surrounds them. (Stout halfling, cold damage resist, weak to fire damage)

Itzin Halflings:

Found in the Dryx jungles, they live in small, secluded communities and know very little of the outside world. Sometimes they sneak into Yana Inti villages and steal animals or food. It is rare for an Itzin to venture beyond their village, but there have been stories of those who do. (Though their fellow villagers tell their kin that they got eaten by something along the way out) (stout halfling, proficiency in nature, additional language: Itzli, no written version)

Aenite Halflings:

Found in Ostrara, they are perhaps the tallest of the halflings, standing closer to 4ft. These halflings are sometimes nicknamed ‘Ambrosian’ because they are believed to be blessed by Dionysus or in some cases, are believed to be his mortal descendants. But because of this, Aenite halflings can be a bit arrogant or naive. (lightfoot halfling, advantage on saves against poison and charmed)

Jiki Halflings:

These halflings are found in Etis, and are quite varied in appearance, but still quite clearly Etissian. They are very inquisitive, and are often drawn to… sometimes rather dangerous situations out of curiosity. (lightfoot halfling, +1 to INT instead of CHA)

Afefi Halflings:

Found in Unomon, living largely amongst the plains and savannas of Ile-Ile . These halflings live in small communities and are lean and muscular. They are semi-nomadic and are able to traverse long distances, and run very fast. They have darker skin and hair, and their eyes vary from grey to brown, sometimes flecked with green. (lightfoot halfling, +10 to speed, weak to cold damage)
