Chapter 30: Travelling & Owl-were-bears

General Summary

The party set off down the long trail to Belsyr, nearly immediately being attacked by some strange fey being. it really kicks our ass a little and then flees into the grasses as quickly as it came. we meet some fellow travelers and warn them about the being. it begins to rain about now and we wind up sharing tents. the rain continues and we get some tarp for a makeshift tent. the next day we encounter a man who wanted food and would “work” for it. we gave him some food and he started following us, demanding more. we sped off, but in the night he caught up with us. he was a were-owlbear! we fought him and an errant mephit swipe wound up killing him. alas. we arrived in our first town and had some fun buying items from the local store owner/innkeeper/bartender. we even got an enchanted tent made by the Meyvir family!
