Lorasian Empire Coinage
Coinage in the Lorasian Empire is organized as following in order from least valuable to most valuable: copper, silver, gold, and platinum. All coins feature the same design along the reverse of three stars surrounded by "Lorasian Empire" and "500 Years of Peace." The obverse of each coin varies. These coins began production in the year 490 in anticipation of the Empire's quincentenary (500 year anniversary) and are now in heavy circulation. Coins of old design are still in use but are regularily collected and shipped back to the mint to be melted down and recast with the new designs. These coins are produced near Arnsholdi where the precious ore used to create them is mined.
