Emaxus is currently undergoing a large entry into a new Age (and a large revision of the current Age). Consider this an active construction zone: things are moving around, getting changed, and the world's being reorganized. Apologies for the inconvenience!

The Pantheon of Emaxus

This is a construction zone. The pantheon is currently being reorganized and further developed.

The Pantheon of Emaxus are all those gods who once ruled over the world, but were slain during the Reckoning. They are incredibly varied, but fall into two categories based on their origins: the generally good-aligned gods who sought to protect mortalkind and usher in life onto Emaxus, the Children of Yamma, and then the primordial forces of change and domination birthed from Vivrah, the Obsidian King: the Obsidian Lords. During the Reshaping, Yamma created the gods of the former category and imprisoned the nascent essences of the latter, and thus the Age of Rebirth began; however, when the Obsidian Lords broke free of their chains, having grown from god-spirits to full blown avatars, the devastating wars of the Reckoning began.   In the silence that followed the God-Wars, all of the gods had been slain. Today, their spirits remain, channeling small amounts of divine blessings and gifts to their followers. Thus, the gods still exist, but in an extremely weakened, non-physical form.   All domains listed are those that would be recommended to a cleric wishing to be devout to said god, but feel free to break the mold.

The Ten

The Ten are comprised of Yamma and those gods that he created to foster the Age of Rebirth. Following the annihilation of the world that came before, Yamma built this pantheon to ensure that Emaxus could be reseeded and then protected. After the Reshaping, the Ten spread across the multiverse, building grand palaces and godly strongholds, and watching their followers grow under their care. Like any family, they do not always agree and indeed, sometimes even fight, but in the wars of the Reckoning, they fought together to protect Emaxus from the wrath of the Obsidian Lords.

The Obsidian Lords

The Obsidian Lords are gods of universal truths; spacetime, evolution, darkness, these gods embody the inevitable march of the things that would see order and life destroyed. Wrathful, evil, and with the echoes of Vivrah at their back, it was the Obsidian Lords who began the Reckoning, who saw Emaxus brought low, and though they were outnumbered and defeated, the Obsidian Lords brought the Children of Yamma down with them, making Emaxus the godless world it is today.

Lesser Idols: Demigods, Entities, and Champions

Emaxus is technically a godless world. With the Reckoning, the Pantheon has been reduced to a host of god-spirits resting in across the multiverse, giving only a trickle of divine favor to their followers in the Material Plane. But, there are others in the multiverse who would seek to shape the history of Emaxus. Whether of a righteous intent or a malicious bent, listed below are a handful of these entities, various demigods, divine creations, elder evils, and more that influence mortals, intentionally and otherwise. Note that there are many other creatures of this category than those below, but those listed here are those that are known or relevant.

The Elemental Pantheon

The Elemental Pantheon is the collection of Titans and their most powerful children that form the fundamental building blocks of the universe. They are not gods, nor demigods, though they may have similar power to both. The Elemental Pantheon is not a true pantheon; it is merely the moniker given to the elemental powers of Yophas. The Elemental Pantheon has many facets and sects, and many "members" of this pantheon are worshipped by those who do not realize their deity has any connection to other elementals.
The Elemental Pantheon has everything from the Elemental Titans (both myth and fact) to the wild nature gods of Emaxus, and much, much more. Not everything composed beneath or believed by certain mortals is necessarily true, so read with a grain of salt.

Wow, this is great stuff. I love the details big and small about each god. The symbols are rad! I'm a sucker for deities and pantheons, I've made way too many into my own world :D   If I were to give suggestive feedback, it would be to draw up simpler versions of those symbols. Most of them are very high-fidelity -- or "high-resolution" if you will -- with lots of cool, minute details. As such, they are not really something that a poor peasant can easily inscribe upon a wooden altar they crafted in their cottage. What do those symbols look like when people with poor skills and meager resources try to reproduce them? This goes kinda into the nitty-gritty of religion-building and assocaited symbology, admittedly. But if there is an organized religion attempting to spread the worship of these (dead) gods, then the holy symbols and icons that religion uses should be easily identifiable and reproducible.   I especially like the norse themed Aasveigan pantheon. Makes me want to read more about the Reckoning!

That's actually an awesome suggestion, thanks! And thank you for the praise as well, I'm rewriting the world history right now so there will be stuff about the Reckoning there! Thanks for the read, friend. :)
