Candlelight

Celebrated on the 25th of snowfall, it celebrates the first snow falls, and it is customary to have snowball fights and go ice skating, and to sit around the fire late into the night telling stories and singing songs, to spite the oncoming cold and darkness. Traditionally, gifts are exchanged, and a candle is allowed to burn out to represent the dying of the light and the coming of winter.
