Harrow's Hold

This small settlement sits near the banks of the River Avon in the Sylic Vale, half way between Feyrest and Hammerhome.

Demographics

Largely inhabited by humans, with a large diaspora community of halfling farmers and gnomes. A small and relatively nomadic community of elves and dwarves also inhabit the town, trading goods from Hammerhome and Feyrest.

Government

Harrow's Hold falls under the rule of Lunar as a settlement within the Sylic Vale, and its townmaster is appointed by the governor in Lunar. The current townmaster is Laura Dar, a human whose family has lived in the town for generations.

Industry & Trade

While this settlement is largely supported by the large farming and ranching community in the surrounding area, it also benefits from the merchants that pass through, going between Hammerhome, Feyrest, or Lunar.

Points of interest

A fairly uninteresting settlement until recently, when a large hive of Ankheg were exterminated from underneath the town. With the aid of adventurers from Eventyr, the tunnel systems of the hive were flooded. This took care of the Ankheg problem, but resulted in sinkholes opening up in and around the town for miles.
